Submition for Class Blog

A mascot is a person or animal that is adopted by a team or other group as a symbolic figure. The mascot is usually the person that brings the spirit to the crowd, or they are the person, animal, or object that intimidate the other team. This is most likely why people have Viking mascots, to install intimidation into the soul of their opponent. Vikings were very powerful, violent raiders that were also traders, explorers, fisherman, and settlers. The Vikings were also considered warriors because of their extremely developed weapons, and their brutal methods to get territory. People today probably use Vikings as mascots, because they were fierce, strong, and very advanced.
